Cider
The History of Cider
Cider’s origins trace back to ancient Greece and Rome, where early apple fermentation practices began. By the Middle Ages, cider had become a staple in Europe, especially in regions like Normandy and England, where ideal growing conditions enhanced its popularity. Brought to America by early settlers, cider flourished until a decline in the 19th century. Today, cider is enjoying a renaissance, celebrated for its diverse flavors and rich traditions. At our orchard, we embrace this history, crafting cider that honors centuries of expertise and innovation.
