Our Certified Organic Apples

How to Select Apple Varieties for Your Needs

We chose our apple varieties and cultivars for their unique characteristics and tastes. If you are interested in apples for fresh eating or baking pies and crisps, you might select William’s Pride, Crimson Topaz, Liberty, Jonagold, and Enterprise. For jams, jellies, and applesauce, you might try Firecracker Crab or Redfree for their lovely red flesh, and Pristine or Nova Spy for sweet-tart flavor. For pressing into juice for fresh or hard cider, you might select a mix of apples with sweet, sharp, and bitter apples, including some of our varieties specifically for cider.

All Varieties

For all of our apples, there will be varying amounts available each season. Some varieties produce very well, some are biennial (producing only every other year), and some are young trees that are not yet bearing fruit. For some varieties, we have planted many trees, and for other varieties, we have only a few trees.
